the power of a dot

in 1821, louis braille, devised a system widely used by blind to read and write. i think this this is by far the most pretty visual written "language" in the world. not because the character are pretty in an esthetic way to the viewer, but by the characters lack of esthetics. the characters in itself does not carry any visual attributes; no fonts, no color, no curves, circles or lines. just dots. all its visual power and content are created in the mind of its user.

mind over matter.
